EPCs:
Surveying Solutions Limited can produce EPCs for existing non-domestic buildings under The British Research Establishment (BRE) protocol agreement with Scottish Building Standards (the body responsible for the implementation of the EPBD). These certificates will provide an assessment of a building’s energy efficiency and will be valid for 10 years from date of issue. We can provide this service as a stand-alone instruction or as a cost effective addition to our core range of Building Surveying services.
After 4th January 2009, any:
• Residential and Non-residential buildings being sold or let will require an EPC.
• Public buildings exceeding 1,000m2 (10,760 sq. ft.) floor area will require to have an EPC in place, displayed in a prominent position.
